Maduka Chides Blackmailers, Debunks Rumour Against Self
Dr Godwin Maduka, American based physician has called the general public to ignore the rumour peddled by few individuals against his person, describing it as handiwork of some misguided faceless blackmailers.
The renowned Pain Doctor who was the Candidate of Accord Party in the just concluded Anambra Governorship election said this in a Statement made available to newsmen in Awka on Sunday.
The publication on the PDP Interactive Forum, an online forum by so-called ‘Rebirth Accord’ with the title “How Anambra People Rejected Godwin Maduka for From Turning Agwu Awka To Harlot Centre” had alleged that Maduka was a sexually loose person.
According to it, We couldn’t have imagined what this man would have turned our government house into, in my world I have never met a man as loose as Maduka when it comes to womanising.
“His penchant for sleeping with different strata of women including married women leaves much to be desired.
“A man of this smelling image lacks every integrity to hold public office in Anambra State, Indeed. Agu Awka would have been turned into Ashawo quarters if we had made the mistake of voting Dr Godwin Maduka as our governor,” it said.
But in a reaction, the Godwin Maduka Foundation said the allegations were totally false, unfounded and described it as handiwork of naysayers bent on tarnishing his hard earned reputation and image and should be discountenanced.
According to the statement, it is unfortunate that some unserious individuals are bent on tarnishing the image of Dr Godwin Maduka of Accord party just to jeopardize his intentions of bringing Anambra state to a more progressive and inclusive development”.
“Be informed that Maduka’s integrity and principles which depicts him as a good philanthropist and true leader cannot and never descend so low to such false rumour.
“His years of experiences as a medical professional has earned him an international reputation and honour, therefore he cannot indulge in such inhumane acts,” it stated.
The Statement further urged the good people of Anambra to remain resolute, and unperturbed.
It said they should consider the information as false and product of propagandists who do not mean well for the state.
“Therefore, it is paramount to note that those behind the ungodly act will soon be put to shame,” it assured.
