Okeke, Anambra Deputy Gov Dumps APGA For APC
Dr. Nkem Okeke, the deputy governor of Anambra State has defected from the All Progressives Grand Alliance(APGA) to the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Okeke was formally presented to President Muhammadu Buhari by Gov. Hope Uzodimma, Governor of Imo State at the State House, Abuja on Wednesday.
The deputy governor’s presentation has put to rest many weeks of rumors of his impending defection.
Okeke, a trained Engineer and Doctorate Degree holder in Economics is said to been utterly dissatisfied with how he was being treated as the second citizen of Anambra and the occupier of the second highest political office in APGA
Pundits say his defection is yet another blow to the chances of APGA and its candidate, Prof. Chikwuma Soludo and a boost for APC and Sen. Andy Uba it’s candidate in the Nov. fiber poll in Anambra.
