Oli Joins Anaocha/Dunukofia/Njikoka Federal Constituency Race
Chief Chukwudi Oli, a lawyer, has declared his intention to run for Anaocha/Dunukofia/Njikoka Federal Constituency in Anambra on the platform of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA).
Oli made the declaration in his home in Nri, Anaocha Local Government Area on Saturday.
He said if elected he would influence laws that would attract Federal projects to Anaocha/Dunukofia/Njikoka and ensure their Constituency funds would be used for them.
According him, I will be a servant leader, I will work with my people with their money
“My representation will not be limited to sharing Keke NAPEP or installation of streetlights, we will work on long term empowerment of youth and women.
“If I am elected as the representative of my people, I will declare the constituency vote to them because it is for everybody, I will be accountable to them,” he said
Oli said he was not going to the National Assembly to enrich himself because he was already comfortable with over 20 years in law practice and consulting for over 10 banks.
He said he would complement the development effort of Anambra governments including mainstreaming of the One Youth, Two Skills programme of the Gov. Chukwuma Soludo administration.
“I am comfortable, I will not enrich myself with the money meant to my people.
“As a private person, I have built roads, boreholes, empowered people and am currently constructing a stadium which will be best in Anambra
“I did my research before joining APGA and discovered that the party is responsible for about 70 percent of good things that have happened to Anambra” he said.
