Soludo Salutes Anambra Residents At Christmas
Gov. Chukwuma Soludo has sent special felicitations to the people, residents of Anambra and all Christians across Nigeria on the occasion of 2025 Christmas celebration.
Soludo in his goodwill message said Christmas marked the commemoration of the birth of Jesus Christ and represented the embodiment of hope, love, peace, and redemption.
He said Christmas values resonated significantly with the collective aspirations of the people for a better society and nation.
“As we mark the birth of our Lord Jesus Christ, we are reminded that the season transcends festive celebrations.
“It is a profound call to reflect on the virtues of compassion, selflessness, and unity that defined the life and teachings of Christ,” he said
Soludo enjoined all Christians in this season of joy and reflection to practise the true essence of Christmas by extending love and generosity to those around us, particularly the less privileged in our communities.
He affirmed that by sharing our blessings with the needy and bringing hope to the despairing, these acts of kindness mirror the spirit of the season and strengthen the bonds that unite us as one people.
He equally enjoined all Anambra citizens and visitors alike to relax and enjoy “Onwa D’zemba”, a special event programme outlining the various exciting festive activities in the State
“I also encourage everyone to remember our dear nation, Nigeria, in our prayers this season by praying for peace, prosperity, and progress in our land, and for divine wisdom for our leaders at all levels of governance to steer the ship of state towards greater heights.
“I wish to reassure all residents and visitors to Anambra of a safe and secure environment throughout this festive period and beyond; Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year,” he said.
