Soludo Swears-In SSG, CPS, 12 Other Key Political Appointees
Gov. Chukwuma Soludo of Anambra on Wednesday swore- in the first set of 14 key political appointees to serve in different capacities during his second term.
The swearing-in ceremony took place at the Exco Chamber, at the Government House in Awka.
Recall that Soludo took oath for his second term on March 17.
The newly sworn-in appoints and their respective portfolios were, Mrs Chiamaka Nnake, Secretary to the State Government; Mr Joachim Anetoh, Principle Secretary to the Governor; Mr Christian Aburime, Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Dr Ben Nwankwo, Chief of Staff to the Governor and Mrs Ngozi Iwouno, Head of Service.
Others were Prof. Frank-Collins Okafor, Chief of Protocol; Uzochukwu Okafor, Commissioner for Finance; Tobechukwu Nweke(SAN) Attorney-General of the State; Dr Vincent Okechi;Deputy Chief of Staff and Ms. Ngozi Okoye, Deputy State Chief of Protocol,.
Others were Dr Godwin Nnadozie, Special Adviser on Medicals and Pharmaceuticals; Ms. Chinwe Okoli, Special Adviser, Innovation and Business Incubation & CEO, Solution Innovation District; Prof. Ebuka Nwankwo, Special Adviser, Special Projects and Director, Project Evaluation and Monitoring, and Mr Ken Emeakayi, Special Adviser, Community Security.
Soludo congratulated the appointees and harped on the need for them to be alive to their duties by contributing their best to ensure the delivery of the Solution policy..
He said their appointment was a call to duty to Anambra people and not for self-aggrandisement
“ I did not appoint you to come and chop but to serve the people with dignity.
“This job is a 24/7 assignment. You are now part of the term Solution 2.0 of my administration.
“You are appointed to add value to the growth and development of the State.
“Let’s work as a term to actualise this administration’s vision of making Anambra a destination hub of Nigeria,” he s
