Soludo Wins Re-election, Dedicates Victory To Anambra Electorate
Gov. Chukwuma Soludo, candidate of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) has been re-elected as governor of Anambra state in the election held on Nov. 8.
Soludo won the contest in all the 21 Local Government Areas of the state with a total of 422,664 votes.
Prof. Bright Omoregie, the Independent National Electoral Commission Chief Returning Officer said Chief Nicholas Ukachukwu of the All Progressives Congress was second with 99,445 votes.
Chief George Moghalu of the Labour Party scored 10,505 votes is third.
Jude Ezenwafor of the Peoples Democratic Party is trailing on the fifth position with 1,401 votes
Soludo is the first governor from Anambra South Senatorial District to serve a second term.
In his reaction, Soludo thanked the people of Anambra for their massive vote and promised to do more in his second term
Soludo who spoke in Isuofia on Sunday extended hands of fellowship to his opponents and urged them to work with him for the good
of Anambra.
