SWAN Honours Edeh, Benue FA Chairman For Sports Development, Philanthropy
Paul Edeh, a lawyer and philanthropist, will receive a distinguished award of recognition for his contributions to sports development in Nigeria and wellbeing of humanity.
Edeh is the chairman of Benue State Football Association (BSFA) and Managing Partner of Raw Gold Partners, his nomination was signed by Ikenna Okonkwo, Secretary General of SWAN.

Hembadoon Orsar, Chairman and Secretary respectively on Wednesday..
It said the award was in recognition of Edeh’s contributions towards our national sports promotion and development.
“Thank you for making Nigeria great through sports, we hope this gesture would encourage you to do more for our great nation,” it said.
Edeh, a human rights advocate and gender activist who holds the traditional title of Oojela K’Idoma and a fellow of the Chartered Institute of Local Government and Public Administration of Nigeria (FCPA).
He is a sports enthusiast, administrator, and promoter, championing gender balance in football and implementing his strategic vision for grassroots football development as BSFA chairman.
Edeh has continued to etch his name as one of the foremost sports philanthropists with his notable contributions to sports development which has earned him numerous awards
He is the founder of Naija Ratels Football Club and Honey Badgers FC, both female football clubs based in Abuja and Makurdi, respectively,
Edeh also established Idoma United FC, and sponsored the Ratels Benue State League, a pioneer of grassroots sports development, particularly in female soccer.
The Jubilee and Award ceremony is scheduled to hold at the MKO Abiola Stadium Abuja, between Oct. 29 and Oct. 31.
