Uzochukwu, Utomi Appointed Into UNIZIK Business School Board of Directors
Dr Stanley Uzochukwu, the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Stanel Group and Prof Pat Utomi, Founder, Centre for Value in Leadership have been appointed as a member of the UNIZIK Business School Board of Directors.
Uzochukwu and Utomi were on Oct. 9 inaugurated to serve on the board alongside seven other members including Dr Cosmas Maduka, CEO of Coscharis.
Others on the board are Dr ABC Orjiakor, Chairman, Seplat Petroleum Dr Chidi Anyaegbu CEO Chisco Group; Dr Ifeanyi Odii, President/CEO Ultimus Holdings; Dr Poly Emenike, Chairman/CEO Nero’s Pharmaceutical; Dr Clement Nwogbo, CEO M-P Infrastructures LTD; and Dr Okey Anueyiagu, Founder, Dr Okey Anueyiagu Foundation
Uzochukwu, an Anambra born entrepreneur was appointed in recognition of his sterling qualities and outstanding contributions to human capacity development and as a seasoned manager.
It is hoped that his wealth of experience would be employed to move the prestigious institution to greater heights with him as a member of the Board.
Reactiong to his appointment Uzochukwu said the School was about to experience a complete paradigm shift given the quality of personalities on the Board.
“It’s such a great privilege and honor to be appointed on the Board of Directors of the Prestigious UNIZIK Business School alongside my mentor and life Coach; Dr Cosmas Maduka, CEO of Coscharis.
“Worthy of note are the other highly esteemed and distinguished personalities also being inducted today, UNIZIK Business School is about to experience a complete shift,” he said.
Uzochukwu has severally been recognised by credible institutions and organizations for his contribution to human capacity development.
He is the mastermind of the biggest youth empowerment programme in the South East of Nigeria tagged “Access More With Stanel”, a programme which has impacted no fewer than 20,000 youths.
Currently, Dr Uzochukwu is serving as the youngest Board Member of Golden Tulip West Africa Limited; and also the youngest member of Igbinediom University Governing Council, amongst others.
Dr Uzochukwu is a recipient of the 2007 African Achievers Award, hosted by the British Labour Party in the United Kingdom.
