Wanted IPOB Member Flees To Ukraine 

 

Mr Ogazie Emmanuel Nnaemeka, a member of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) has migrated to Ukraine.

 

Nnaemeka an indigene of  Obiator village in Amurie, Omanze in Isu Local Government Area of Imo State went to the Western European country to pursue further studies.

 

Recall that the Isu Divisional Police was attacked and burnt on May 31, 2021 by yet to be identified arsonists.

 

His travel  to Ukraine for further studies coincided with crisis in his community, Amurie where some suspected members of IPOB were accused of being responsible for the arson attack on Isu Police Station

 

Nnaemeka fled Nigeria and arrived in Ukraine on Oct. 28, 2021.

 

The Nigerian forces stormed Amurie  community on Feb.23, 2022 and burnt houses and several valuables belonging to indigenes

 

Meanwhile, the local Police in Nigeria have declared Mr Ogazie Emmanuel Nnaemeka and placed him under surveillance wanted on the account of the development.

 

According to the Police, after thorough investigation, it was gathered that the actual perpetrators were members of IPOB as a result of their grievances over setting ablaze of the residential houses of their members by the Nigerian Military and the arrest and detention of their members within that period.

 

“It was further gathered that one Mr. Ogazie Emmanuel Nnaemeka from Obiator, Amuorie Omanze in Isu Local Government Area of Imo State, who is a prominent member of Independent People of Biafra (IPOB)

 

“The said Mr Ogazie Emmanuel Nnaemeka has been declared wanted by the Nigeria Police as the leader of the group that attacked the Divisional Police Station, Isu in Isu Local Government Area of Imo State,” it stated.
