We Must Re-elect PBAT For Political Stability, Economic Progress— Awogu

Chief Arinzechukwu Awogu, a Chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Anambra has called on Nigerians to support the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for a second term.
Awogu made the call while inaugurating the Wards and Polling Unit coordinators of the Renewed Hope Ambassadors in Ogbaru Local Government Area of Anambra in Atani on Sunday.
The inauguration was well attended by grassroots leaders of APC in the local government area and leaders of various support groups in Ogbaru.
Awogu who is the Coordinator of the Renewed Hope Ambassadors in Ogbaru Local Government Area said Tinubu should be reelected in order to maintain the second term pattern and also sustain the progress in the economy under his administration.
The Chieftain who is also the National Coordinator of Ikemba Front, the frontline political support group within the APC in Anambra said the PBAT re-election message had been resoundingly passed and well received by the people of the area.
A total of 16 Wards Coordinators and 383 Polling Units Ambassadors were inaugurated in Ogbaru and charged to ensure the victory for the APC in the coming national elections.
Awogu commended the National Coordinator of Renewed Hope Ambassadors, Gov Hope Uzodimma, the leader of Renewed Hope Ambassadors in Anambra, Chief Olisa Metuh and the Anambra Coordinator of the group, Chief Okey Ezenwa for their inspirational leadership in the Southeast and Anambra in particular.
He regretted the poor outing of APC in the Nov. 8 2025, governorship election in Anambra in spite the huge mobilisation before the election, and reassured that the 2027 election would be different.
“It is important that I explain to you why our efforts in that election went the way it did so that your spirit will not be dampened because I know some of us have not received from that shock, but I assure you 2027 will be different.
He said the victory of President Bola Tinubu should be ensured because no incumbent president in the history of Nigeria since it became a republic had ever been denied re-election.
According to him, there should be no disequilibrium of the re-election pattern of the highest office in the land.
“President Shehu Shagari won a second four-year term in the August 1983 presidential elections. As the National Party of Nigeria candidate, securing a significant victory over his closest rival, Chief Obafemi Awolowo.
“In 2003, President Olusegun Obasanjo won a second term as President of Nigeria in April 2003 under the Peoples Democratic Party and in 2019, President Muhammadu Buhari won a second term as Nigeria’s president in the 2019 general election.
“So, why would anybody think that the pattern would be distorted in the case of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu,” he said
Mr Patrick Chukwuma, Chairman of APC in Ogbaru LGA led members of the APC Ogbaru Local Government Working Committee to witness the inauguration ceremony.
The inauguration marks the commencement of massive mobilisation of the people of Ogbaru Local Government Area ahead of the 2027 general election.
The National Assistant Secretary of Ikemba Front, Mr Obiajulu Ibegbunam and the Onitsha North LGA Coordinator of Renewed Hope Ambassadors, Mr Mortune Ikechukwu Jacob, attended the inauguration.
The 16 Wards Coordinators and the 383 Polling Units Ambassadors that were inaugurated vowed not to disappoint the confidence that Renewed Hope Ambassadors (RHA) had placed in them.
