NDC-PCC Aims Total Victory For Obi/Kwankwaso, Others In Anambra
Dr Ifeanyichukwu Ibezi, the Coordinator, NDC Presidential Campaign Council (PCC) in Anambra says the party will work to deliver the maximum number of valid votes to its presidential candidate, Mr Peter Obi and other candidates of the party in Anambra.
Ibezi said this in a Statement on Tuesday entitled “A Call To Duty: Anambra, The Task Before Us” said he accepted his appointment as NDC PCC Coordinator in Anambra with a sense of duty, appreciation of the task ahead, and an unwavering commitment.
He said Anambra being the home state of the NDC presidential candidate occupied a peculiar place in the 2027 election campaigns and that expectations were understandably high.
He said their responsibility was not only to secure victory for the party but to ensure that Anambra delivered a resounding mandate, reflected in the strength and number of valid votes cast for Obi/Kwankwaso.
“We must be at the forefront of states that will contribute the highest number of votes to his emergence as President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
“We must work towards securing victory for NDC candidates across the other elective positions in the state.
“This requires organisation, genuine engagement, sacrifice, and the collective efforts of party faithful, stakeholders, community leaders, young people, women, and every Nigerian who believes that our country can do better.
“We must take this campaign to the 21 Local Government Areas, 326 political wards, 5,720 polling units, markets, churches and every household in Anambra,” he said.
Ibezi the NDC would reach out to those who were undecided, those who feel left behind, those who had grown weary of the system and those who have withdrawn from the electoral process.
He said the PCC would mobilise the people, secure their participation and ensure that every valid vote counted to reflect the will of the people.
“The task before us is demanding, but with unity and commitment we can make a difference.
“Anambra must rise to the occasion, Peter Obi must receive a resounding mandate, and together, we must work for a new Nigeria that delivers for its people,” he said.
