Anambra Command PPRO Bags IGP Best Image Maker Award
SP Tochukwu Ikenga, Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), Anambra Command has been bestowed with an award of the best Image Maker by the Police high command.
Ikenga received the award at a ceremony in Abuja on June 4.
The award winning PPRO said the award was not a trophy as it was a collaborative effort of Officers and men of the Anambra State Police Command.
He said it marked a new beginning in their journey towards excellence.
“This award does not make me extraordinary, I carry it with honour of humility and with the fierce determination to do even more.
“I have seen men and women who represent the very best of our nation, officers who through sweat and sacrifice, courage and character, have risen above the call of duty,” he said.
Ikenga said his greatest resource was the trust of the people he served adding that he was ready to serve them better.
He appreciatedthe Inspector General of Police, the Assistant Inspector General of Police in charge of Zone 13, the Commissioner of Police Anambra State and the Force PRO for the honour.
