Anambra Guber:: ADC Will End APGA’s 20-Year Grip Of Anambra—– Nwobu

Chief Ndubuisi Nwobu, deputy governorship candidate of Africa Democratic Congress (ADC) says the party is the most formidable opposition to the ruling All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) ahead of the Nov. 8 election.
Nwobu who said this at the thanksgiving and dedication service of his deputy candidacy at the Cathedral Church of St Faith, Awka on Sunday noted that ADC was the fastest growing party in Anambra and Nigeria today,
Nwobu was joined by his principal, Mr John Nwosu, candidate of the ADC, Mr Patrick Obianyo, chairman of the party, party members and associates at the event.
He said message of ADC was spreading like wildfire in the State and across the country.
He said the ADC would prioritise security in Anambra to enable people feel safe adding that it was the only condition for the economy and enterprise to thrive.
According to him, before we came on board, some people were boasting that there was no opposition, that the election will be a no-contest but now you can see that they have adjusted significantly.
“The primary duty of government is security of lives and property, and the government in Anambra has failed woefully on that.
“We will not need to chase groundnut, vegetable and orange sellers around for revenue, our major revenues will come from major companies and industries that will spring up here,” he said.
The former Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Anambra, he was not only bringing members of his former party to ADC by his friends across party lines.
“I am not only bringing PDP people, I have relationships with people in APGA, APC, PDP and a lot of people in these parties are coming into ADC because I am involved,” he said.
Nwobu said the thanksgiving and dedication service was to ask God to guide and protect them during the campaign and grant them victory so they could give the people of Anambra purposeful governance and enduring security.
“This momentous occasion is an opportunity to appreciate God for my nomination as the deputy governorship candidate of ADC, and to dedicate all our campaigns and the election project
to him,” he said.
