Suspended Anambra Community PG Plots Arrest Of Opponents Over Access To Bank Accounts
Some people have raised alarm that Mr Nnamdi Iloduba, the suspended President General of the community has perfected plans to arrest members of Board of Trustees Nteje Development Union (NDU) in trumped up allegations.
Recall that Iloduba was suspended by the BoT having reviewed the complaints and allegations against him and appointed Mr Augustine Modika as acting PG.
A panel of enquiry led by Mr P.I. Obichukwu, a Lawyer, was set up to investigate the allegations against Iloduba.
Iloduba was accused of allegedly unilaterally deciding to amend the NDU constitution without recourse to laid down rules.
The former constitution review Committee led by Prof. Solomon Ekwenze as Chairman and Dr Ogugua Emma Okafor have since distanced themselves from the shambolic and illegal constitution amendment in writing.
The NDU BoT had filed a matter with suit no OT/261/2025 at an Anambra High Court sitting in Awka and obtained judgement granting the application to stop any amendment of the NDU constitution and to uphold Iloduba’s suspension on Sept.10 2025.
When contacted, the acting PG of the town, Modika, confirmed that the suspended PG and his co-travellers had a penchant of picking Nteje indigenes in a gestapo style.
Modika alleged that after Iloduba’s suspension, some masked security men tried to arrest him in June but met his absence.
He said they however succeeded in abducting the former PG, Chief B.U. Chinweze and two other comrades whose ransoms were paid before their release.
The acting PG said he would not be surprised but stated that Nteje people would succumb to a tyrant and peace-breaker.
