Onunkwo, Top Senatorial Aspirant Dumps APGA For APC
Chief Ebuka Onunkwo, Managing Director, Chief Executive Officer of Seahorse Group of companies has reportedly parted ways with the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA).
Onunkwo, a frontline sensational aspirant for Anambra South District was said to have joined the All Progressives Congress (APC) on Sunday.
Recall that Onunkwo tried to fly the ticket of APGA but failed to clinch it due to the infamous conclave system and decided to pursue his ambition through the APC.
The industrialist had in April declared his intention to run for the Senate in the 2027 general election.
His defection puts to an end months of speculation about his next move following the frosty relationship with his estwhile party.
The philantropist with massive grassroots following appears to be a huge loss to APGA which is rumoured to have resolved not to give him ticket
His entry into the APC seems to be the game changer and a shock to APGA and whoever will be its candidate in the contest.
