Onunkwo, NDC Candidate Drums Support For Obi/Kwankwaso In Anambra South District

Chief Ebuka Onunkwo, candidate of the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) for Anambra South Senatorial District says he is in the contest for common good and greater legislative dividends.

Onunkwo, who is the Managing Director of Seahorse Lubricants Ltd said this while addressing his supporters in Uga Ward, Aguata Local Government Area on Sunday.

He said was not in the race for selfish gain or personal aggrandisement as he was a comfortable businessman with hundreds of youths especially youths in direct employment and many others indirectly employed under his establishment.

He said he had maintained a life of philanthropy and sponsored scholarships for over two decades adding that his re-election into the Senate would enable him to extend the gesture addressing development challenges of the district.

“I believe in development and youth empowerment, that is why I located my factory here in Anambra.

If you see members of my staff going home at the close of work, you will think they are coming out from a crusade ground, that is how much I have touched lives.

“I am going to the National Assembly to represent you, make good laws and attract projects that will enhance the lives of my people, I am not one of those that will lose their head because of money

“I have done philanthropy for over 20 years, I have offered scholarships to students for over 17 years, it is not politics, it is service to God and love for humanity,” he said.

Onunkwo called on the people of Anambra South Senatorial District to vote for him and ensure comprehensive victory for Mr Peter Obi, the presidential candidate of NDC.

He said NDC candidates were campaigning on issues and track records adding they would not pay attention to propaganda and fake news.

According to him, I am contesting on the platform of NDC. We and Mr Peter Obi are on this journey together.

“If Peter Obi goes into Aso Rock, we will be in the National Assembly making good laws for him and giving him legislative support,” he said.
