Two die in bus-motorcycle crash in Anambra

Two persons have been confirmed dead in Anambra following a head-on road crash between a commuter bus and a motorcycle late Saturday.
Sources say the Mitsubishi L300 commuter bus with registration number FGG-212-XV hit a Honda C75 Motorcycle with registration number AKL843QH moving in the opposite direction while both where trying to avoid a bad spot on the road.
According to the source, the two occupants of the motorcycle sustained serious injuries from the crash and were later confirmed dead at the hospital where they rushed to for medical attention.
According to Pascal Anigbo, Public Enlightenment Officer at Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), Anambra Command, the incident took place at about 8:40 pm on Saturday.

“He also strongly warns motorists against speeding, especially within built-up areas and that drivers should drive with maximum concentration, applying common sense speed limits and must tolerate other road users,” he said.
