The Vice Presidential Candidate of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP, in 2019 elections, Mr Peter Obi, has expressed joy at the reception organized for the Primate of All Nigeria, Anglican Communion, Primate Henry Ndukuba with a prayer of divine sustainance on him.
Obi, who attended the Primate’s reception at St Peter’s Anglican Church, Ogberuru, Orlu, on Sunday, 10 January 2021, expressed his delight at what he described as God’s blessings on Ndigbo. He explained that Archbishop Ndukuba is the first ever Primate of the Anglican Communion from the South East.
Obi encouraged the Primate to remain steadfast in God’s love while assuring him of his constant prayers and support.
Appreciating Obi, and everyone who made out time to celebrate the day with him, Archbishop Ndukuba said it was God’s grace that had brought him thus far in God’s vineyard. He promised to continue to serve God and humanity faithfully using his new position.
“No one takes this honour upon himself, but it is called by God, just as Aaron was. Whatever and wherever I am today is by God’s grace. My new position as the Primate of Nigeria is therefore a platform for me to touch more lives both in the church and in society”, Ndukuba pledged.
