NSF: Anambra Female Volleyball Team Beat Nasarawa 3-2 In Opener
The Anambra volleyball team on Monday started their campaign for medal on a positive note with a 3-2 victory against their Nasarawa State counterparts.
Nasarawa won the first set by 26-24 while Anambra returned parity in the second set and took the lead in the third set by winning 25-11 and 25-13 respectively.
Nasarawa won the fourth set by 25-20 forcing the game to the fifth set which Anambra won by 15-12.
Speaking after the game, Coach Ossai Obi said his players did well in the match.
Obi said he was confident of victory in their next march against Oyo state on Tuesday.
