Anambra SSF: Holy Child, CSS Isuofia Advance To State Final In Male Volleyball Event
Holy Child and Community Secondary both of Isuofia on Saturday qualified to represent Anambra South Senatorial District at the State final of the Volleyball event of the ongoing Anambra school sports festival.
Holy Child defeated CSS Isuofia 3-2 in a thrilling five sets encounter held at the volleyball Court of CSS Isuofia.
In female football Maria Regina Secondary school Nnewi lost 0 -3 to Holy Child Secondary School Isuofia in their semifinal tie but both teams progressed to the state finals
Still in Isuofia, Christ Redeemer’s College, Amesi defeated CSS Oko 4-2 in U17 female football to emerge one of the finalists from Anambra South zone.
In male football, Nnewi High school and Holy Child , Community Secondary School are through to the finals in the U17 category.
Christ Redeemer’s College Amesi male football team joined their female counterparts in the state finals after defeating CSS Awgbu.
Zonal qualifiers action is going on in Anambra Central and Anambra North districts in the 10 competitive events at the festival.
