Uncle Ralph Trash Eri Pry 3-1 To Win U13 Football Champions At Anambra School Sports
Uncle Ralph de Great Academy, Mgbakwu emerged champions of the U13 football competition at the Anambra School Sports Festival which ended on Saturday.
Uncle Ralph de Great emerged after stunning their fellow finalists, Eri Primary School 3-1 in the entertaining game played at the Awka township stadium.
The winners who showed a scintillating display of skill and strength decided the game in the first half when they netted three goals before the break.
The Aguleri young lads came back more determined in the second half but their goal in the early minutes of the half could not give the needed turnaround.
Speaking after the game, Ralph Ogbonna, proprietor of the school said he was happy that his boys gave a good account of themselves in the competition.
Ogbonna said the quality of the match was high and that the boys had great prospects.
He thanked thanked Anambra government for providing the platform for students in the State to showcase their skills while pursuing their education.
