Adeoye, Anambra CP Visits Personnel Wounded In Sting Operation
Mr Aderemi Adeoye, the Commissioner of Police in Anambra on Wednesday visited some personnel of the Command who sustained injuries during an offensive operation around Anambra-Imo states border.
The Police were part of the joint operation team which stormed a criminal camp at Orsumoghu.
DSP Toochukwu Ikenga, the Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) in Anambra said the CP also made a cash donation to the officers and prayed for their quick recovery.
Ikenga said Adeoye assured the victims that the Police would not abandon or leave them behind.
He added that the visit was to boost the morale of officers while discharging their duties noting that their welfare was important to the leadership of the Force.
“CP also assures the good people of Anambra that the command is more determined than ever to flush out the miscreants in the state and make Anambra safer for law-abiding citizens to go about their lawful businesses,” he said.
