NAFDAC SE Zonal Director Seeks Partnership With NDLEA, Police
Mr Pharm. Martins Iluyomade, the Southeast Zonal Director of National Agency for Food and Drugs Administration Agency (NAFDAC) has solicited for synergy with sister agencies.
Iluyomade made the call during a working visit to Mrs Chinyere Olugu,the Commander of Nigeria Drug Law Enforcement Agency in Enugu State on Nov. 16.
The new Zinal Director also visited CP Kanayo Uzuegbu, the Commissioner of Police in Enugu State as part of his familiarisation tour of the zone.
Iluyomade said the visits were to strengthen the relationship that existed between NAFDAC and the law enforcement agencies as well as build stronger synergy.
He said while NAFDAC was the lead agency in the administration and control of regulated food and drug products, NDLEA and Police were crucial partners for effective outcomes.
According to him, the purpose of the visit is to seek the cooperation of the Police and synergies with our sister agency for a smooth working relationship in the state.
NAFDAC Southeast Zone, Enugu is in charge of Abia, Anambra, Ebonyi, Enugu and Imo Stattes.
