Egwuonwu Mourns Sen. Ubah As Media Community Holds Candle Procession In Awka
Chief Akai Egwuonwu, a Chieftain of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) has described the death of Sen. Ifeanyi Ubah as a huge loss to humanity.
Egwuonwu said this at the candle light procession held in honour of the Nnewi born billionaire at Emmaus House in Awka, the Awka capital on Saturday.
Ifeanyi Ubah untill his death in July was the senator representing Anambra South District in the National Assembly.
Egwuonwu is the Managing Director of Stine Rice Mill, producers of Anambra Rice as well as the Chief Executive Officer of Zara Stores Ltd.
The visibly mournful businessman who described Ubah as a friend and brother said it was hard to find the right words to describe the pain of the loss.
Egwuonwu however said the consolation was that Ubah led an impactful life and touched those around him that his memory will live in the hearts of people for many years.
According to Egwuonwu, it’s hard to find words with which to convey one’s grief over the loss of a great friend and brother,” he said.
The Candlelight procession which was organised by the Anambra media community also had in attendance Chief Maja Umeh a former commissioner for Information/Culture and other friends and associates of the fallen senator
and business mogul.
