ADC Guber Candidate In Anambra Welcomes Obi, Lawmakers Into Party
Mr John Chuma Nwosu, governorship candidate of African Democratic Congress (ADC) in Anambra has extended warm welcome to political leaders who joined the party with their supporters to the state chapter of the party.
Nwosu who is the leader of ADC in Anambra in his message of welcome on Friday said their step was towards deepening democracy and making Nigeria great.
Recall that Mr Peter Obi, presidential candidate of the Labour Party in the 2023 election on Dec. 31 officially left the party and declared his membership of the ADC in Enugu alongside some lawmakers.
Nwosu said their individual and collective decisions reflected courage, experience, and the shared belief in building a truly democratic, inclusive, and progressive Nigeria.
He said the new members were coming with wealth of political and legislative experience, leadership capacity, and deep connection with the people.
Nwosu said they would significantly strengthen the ADC as the party continued to offer credible alternative anchored on integrity, justice, and development-driven politics.
According to him, I welcome warmly to the Anambra Family, all our distinguished leaders, stakeholders, and supporters who formally joined this great party in Enugu.
“ADC is committed to people oriented governance and national renewal.
“We particularly extend a special welcome to Mr Peter Obi, Sen. Victor Umeh, Sen. Tony Nwoye, as well as all Federal and State Legislators who have taken this bold and patriotic step to align with the ADC.

Nwosu said the ADC remained a home for all transformative leaders who believed that Nigeria deserved better leadership and a future defined by opportunity, unity, and shared prosperity.
