Aghaulor, AIG In Charge Of Zone 13 Ukpo Bows Out After 35 Years
Mr Godwin Aghaulor, Assistant Inspector General of Police in charge of Zone 13, Ukpo has bowed out after 35 years of service to the Police Force.
A send off ceremony was organised for Aghaulor on Saturday at the Zonal Command Headquarters, Ukpo in Dunukofia Local Government Area
He was celebrated by members of the Police Community Relations Committee, Police Officers’ Wives Association, Personnel of Zone 13 and many others.
The outgoing AIG also decorated five newly promoted Assistant Commissioners of Police as his last official duty at the event.
The decorated officers were ACP Ugochukwu Ezejiofor, ACP Celestine Umeh, ACP Jude Ohaja, ACP Eluha Clever and ACP Emoefe Oshiobugie.
He held various positions in the Police force including Commandant Police College, Zaria, DCP Administration Sokoto and Zonal Commanding Officer Zone 13 Ukpo from Nov. 15, 2023 till his retirement.
In his short remark, Aghaulor thanked God and Nigeria Police for grace and privilege of serving the country up to the level of AIG.
He urged those in service to give their best to the country and prayed that God would preserve them to retire alive and well.
“I want to thank God for the grace and the Nigerian Police for the opportunity to serve up to the rank of AIG.
“I want encourage those still in service to continue to give their best, I pray that none of you will die or get paralysed in service, you will all retire in good health,” he said.
Aghaulor born in Agbor, Ika North East Local Government Area of Delta State in 1965, enlisted into the force as a member Course 16, Cadet ASP on March 3 1990.
He is married with children.
