Anambra 2025: Ukachukwu/Ekwunife Ticket No Threat To APGA—Obigwe
Mr Chinedu Obigwe, a Chieftain of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) has dismissed the ticket of Dr Nicholas Ukachukwu and Sen. Uche Ekwunife is as bogus but empty as the Zimbabwean Dollar.
Ukachukwu and Ekwunife are the governorship candidate and running mate on the platform of All Progressives Congress (APC)
Obigwe who is the Coordinator of APGA Media Warriors said the ticket was no threat to APGA in the forthcoming Nov. 8. governorship election.
He said he followed the process that threw up the choice of the running mate but concluded that Gov. Chukwuma Soludo would defeat them with a wide margin.
He said Ekwunife would not be able to help Ukachukwu to win the election as she was only interested in using the deputy governor candidate position to revive her political career.
According to him, Anambra people are wiser and cannot be deceived.
“Ekwunife agreed to be Ukachukwu ‘s running mate to also cash out from the free money Ukachukwu is throwing around.
“No amount of hyping will give Ukachukwu victory in the forthcoming November 8th governorship election.
“Anambra is in safe hands and the good people of the State are determined to re-elect Governor Soludo for a well deserved 2nd term,” he said.
