Anambra Council Boss Inaugurates E-Automobile Mechanic Workshop in Neni

Mr Romanus Ibekwe, the Chairman of Anaocha Local Government Council in Anambra has inaugurated a newly constructed E-Automobile Mechanic Workshop within Secretariat headquarters in Neni.
Ibekwe who performed the ceremony on Wednesday described the project as a strategic step towards youth empowerment and skills acquisition in the area.
He said the workshop aimed at equipping young people with practical skills and reducing social vices across communities aligned with the apprenticeship and youth development vision of the Gov. Chukwuma Soludo
He said the E-Automobile mechanic workshop would serve as a training centre where youths can acquire modern technical knowledge in automobile maintenance and related innovations and empower them to be self-reliant.
“This initiative would help remove youths from the streets, reduce restiveness, and create sustainable economic opportunities for the people of Anaocha.
“This administration is committed to delivering people-oriented projects that will improve the living standard of Anaocha people.
“I commend Gov. Soludo for providing purposeful leadership and developmental policies that continue to inspire local government administrations across the state,” he said.
Also speaking, Mr Chinedu Ofojebe, the Senior Special Adviser to the Governor on Political Matters, commended the Chairman for his doggedness, commitment to infrastructure development, and grassroots transformation.
Ofojebe said Ibekwe had been consistent in executing impactful projects within the local government area while urging other local government chairmen in the state to take a cue.
The event attracted stakeholders, political leaders, and government officials from across the
local government area.
