Anambra CP Meets Cattle Menace Committee Over Insecurity
The Commissioner of Police in Anambra, Mr Tony Olofu, has called on stakeholders and all residents of the state to contribute to the efforts to ensure the peaceful and secure atmosphere was sustained.
Olofu made the call in a Statement issued by DSP Toochukwu Ikenga, the Anambra Command Spokesman in Awka on Wednesday
Ikenga said the meeting was part of the CP’s stakeholders’ engagement toward ensuring a peaceful Anambra.
“In continuation of his strategic engagement with stakeholders in the State to enhance public peace and peaceful coexistence, the Commissioner of Police, CP Tony Olofu today addressed the Herders/Farmers Committee inAwka.
“The CP who is the chairman of the committee, called for honest and patriotic involvement of all stakeholders aimed at identifying and prioritising our differences aimed at developing deliberate plans in addressing them.
“To achieve this, the Command is poised to operate an all-inclusive policing system.This will help us as an institution to guide our decisions,” he said.
CP Ikechukwu Aduba (Rtd) Chairman Anambra Vigilance Group, Mohammadu Idris, Commander of the Nigeria Drug Law Enforcement Agency in Anambra.
