APGA Dismisses Labour Party Lawmakers’ Accusation Of Deploying Vigilance Group For By-Election
Mr Chinedu Obigwe, a chieftain of All Progress Grand Alliance (APGA) has said it was not correct that Gov. Chukwuma Soludo deployed and thugs non-state actors for the Saturday by-election in Anambra State.
..
Obigwe who reacted to the allegations by Labour Party members on Friday described the allegations as a tissue of lies which emanated from the camp of alarmists and disgruntled political elements.
The National coordinator of APGA Media Warriors Forum said the elements were actually plotting to rig the Aug.16 bye election but were not crying wolf where none existed because they had been caught in their plan ..
“As a matter of fact, tge Sen. Tony Nwoye is known very well for fraternising with thugs in Anambra.
“Both him and his cohorts are the actual people planning to unleash thugs on innocent electorates in tomorrow’s by election to rig the election.
“But it is now obvious to them that security agents will deal decisively with their thugs hence their reason for shedding crocodile tears.
“The National Security Adviser and security chiefs should ignore the cock and bull story because they are drowning political idiots that must not be taken serious,” he said.
Obigwe said Gov. Chukwuma Soludo’s antecedent was well known to Nigerians and he last thing he would do was to encourage election rigging.
He said Soludo did good work in Anambra to justify the confidence reposed on him by Anambra electorate and they were determined to use vote for APGA candidates on Aug. 1
6 bye elections.
