Bishop Nwankpa: Soludo Won’t Succumb To Cheap Blackmail— Obigwe
Mr Chinedu Obigwe, the National Coordinator of APGA Media Warriors Forum says Gov. Chukwuma Soludo will not abandon his fight against fake pastors in Anambra until they prove their innocence.
Obigwe said this while reacting to the allegations by Ikemba Front, a support group within the All Progressives Congress which accused Soludo of arresting Bishop Emeka Nwankpa out of political witch hunt.
Nwankpa, Founder and General Overseer of Chapel of Faith Bible Assembly International Onitsha was arraigned on June 5 alongside seven others recently on allegation stage-managing miracles.
They are currently demanded in custody.
He said the claim was to use blackmail to arm-twist the State government into dropping charges against Nwankpa, noting that he was only paying for his ‘sins’ of deception.
The claim that the arrest and arraignment at the Court of Bishop Emeka Nwankpa alongside other fake pastors is a political witch hunt can best be described as balderdash.
Obigwe said rather than vilify and subject Soludo to blackmail, he should be commended for his effort to sanitise the state.
He said Nwankpa who was a member of APC in Onitsha North 2 constituency, had no serious electoral value to attract the attention of Soludo.
“He cannot boast of winning elections in his polling unit and talk more of his ward.
“Governor Soludo administration cannot be associated with politically motivated witch hunts of any kind against anybody in Anambra.
“His administration is only known for the delivery of dividends of good governance in our State.
“Truly, Anambra people have never had it so good as they are witnessing under the administration of our beloved Governor Soludo,” he said.
