Chidoka To Deliver 3rd Ojukwu Annual Memorial Lecture
Chief Osita Chidoka, a former minister of aviation will deliver the third Dim Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu Memorial Lecture slated for Nov 15.

The theme of the Lecture is “Harnessing the Power of Education for National Transformation: Lessons from Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu’s Vision”,
The Lecture aims to spark meaningful dialogue on advancing education as a tool for national renewal, drawing from Ojukwu’s legacy of courage, vision, and dedication to the Nigerian people.
The event will hold at the renovated ETF Auditorium, Igbariam Campus, Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University.
The Dim Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu Memorial Lecture which was inaugurated in 2018, is an academic platform dedicated to preserving Ojukwu’s legacy of patriotism, courage, and visionary leadership.
The third edition promises to be especially significant, as it comes at a time of great national anxiety, economic challenges, and increasing insecurity.
Chidoka, former Corps Marshal of the FRSC, is an exemplary public speaker, the Coordinator of the Mekaria Mentorship Programme – the largest youth mentorship initiative in Nigeria. and the Chief Executive Officer at the Athena Centre for Policy and Leadership
The mentorship expert is well suited to speak to the challenges facing Nigeria today and to outline a roadmap for national renewal and resilience.
Accepting the offer, Chidoka said he was humbled by the university’s decision to offer him this opportunity to stand on the shoulders of a great Nigerian and celebrated Igbo son, to address the pressing challenges within the educational sector.
“It will also inspire a renewed commitment to national transformation through the power of knowledge and resilient leadership,” he said.

Gov. Chukwuma Soludo of Anambra, Amb Bianca Ojukwu widow of the Igbo Leader and the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Mr Labaran Maku; and Prof. Kate Omenugha, the Acting Vice-Chancellor of Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University who will be the Chief Host.
