Coalition Of Obidient Support Groups Endorse Ozigbo For Anambra Guber
A coalition of 46 Obidient Supporpt groups has thrown their weight behind the aspiration of Mr Valentine Ozigbo in the 2025 Anambra State governorship election.
The Obidient Supporpt Groups is coalition of independent democratic activists who are dedicated to advocating for good governance in Nigeria.
The groups include including the influential Big Six – Peter Obi Support Network, Women for Peter Obi, Like Minds For Peter Obi, Take Back Naija, Nigeria Needs Peter Obi, and Coalition For Peter Obi among others.
The group pledged to deploy their resources, networks, and entire energies towards actualising their dream of seeing Anambra in the hands of an authentic leader.
The group in a Statement signed by Maazi Tochukwu Ezeoke, Mrs Ebere Obiesie, Ezeokoli Blessing, Kingland Ezeani, Chigozie Ifeanyichukwu Ikenna Mbanefo said Ozigbo stood out as a beacon of hope for Anambra.
They said they had evaluated the administration of the incumbent Governor Chukwuma Soludo and found him wanting in several aspects of leadership and service delivery to Anambra citizens.
The coalition said Ozigbo’s campaign for a better and brighter Anambra had inspired a wide spectrum and they believed he was the right leader to steer Anambra State towards a prosperous future.
“Our mission, which originated as the ‘New Nigeria’ movement, is to see Nigeria led by credible and competent political leaders who can bring about transformative change in our nation.
“Regarding the November 2025 gubernatorial election in Anambra State, the Obidient Support Groups has conducted a thorough analysis of the political landscape.
“United in purpose, we, the leaders and members of 46 diverse Obedient Support Groups stand firm in our endorsement of Valentine Ozigbo for the upcoming Anambra 2025 gubernatorial election.
*Ozigbo’s commitment to youth development, community building, and good governance aligns perfectly with the values of the Obidient Movement.,” they said.
The coalition said Ozigbo’s remarkable achievements, including his tenure as the President and Group CEO of Transcorp Plc, where he led transformative projects and garnered international recognition, demonstrate his capacity for visionary leadership.
