Habu Gumel Congratulates Omidiran’s On Swearing In as Chairman Of Federal Character Commission
Engr. Habu Ahmed Gumel, President of the Nigeria Olympic Committee (NOC), has congratulated Chief Ayo Omidiran, a veteran of Nigerian sports administrator on her appointment as
Executive Chairman of the Federal Character Commission (FCC).
Gumel sent his Gumel, in his message of congratulations after the swearing in of Omidiran into office on Jan. 22 by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
The message which was signed by Tony Nezianya, the Image Maker of the NOC described Omidiran as one Nigeria’s sporting community’s finest.
He said her ascension to a top federal agency was an indication of the leadership quality found within the NOC and the Nigerian sports fraternity.
Gumel said Omidiran’s wealth of wisdom and administrative “know-how” made her the perfect fit for the FCC adding that she was a dedicated proprietor of her own female football club, who invested in the next generation.
“I offer huge congratulations to Hon. Ayo Omidiran on her prestigious appointment as the Executive Chairman of the Federal Character Commission (FCC).
“A true veteran of Nigerian sports administration, with decades of experience in this national role.
“From her influential days as a member of the NFF Board to her transformative work as Chairperson of the Women’s Football Committee, Omidiran has been a tireless advocate for the beautiful game.
