LG Poll: Onyedum Congratulates Ibekwe, Hails Anaocha
Patrick-Estes Onyedum, Chairman of Anambra State Sports Development Commission has congratulated Mr Romanus Ibekwe on his election as the Executive Chairman of Anaocha Local Government Council in the election held on Saturday.
Onyedum, a Chieftain of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) in his congratulatory message thanked the Stakeholders of the party and the people of Anaocha for ensuring comprehensive victory for all its candidates in the election.
He commended Gov. Chukwuma Soludo for delivering on his promise to conduct Local Government Council election in Anambra and delivering quality governance which earned APGA its deserved victory.
“The victory APGA in Anaocha is victory for the people because Romanus Ibekwe is the best man for the Job. I want to also congratulate all our councillorship candidates for their victories.
“My special thanks to leaders and stakeholders of APGA in Anaocha for their tireless efforts during the election.
“Mr Governor, our national leader actually made the job easy for us because his good works were our campaign points, he has delivered his promise to conduct Local Government Council election, we appreciate him for that,” he said.
Rome secured a total of 20,663 votes to emerge winner in the election.
