Mefor, Obidike, Aghamba Return As Commissioners In Anambra
Dr Law Mefor, Dr Afam Obidike, Mr Patrick Aghamba and Prof. Offornze Amucheazi made the 18-man Commissioner nominees list sent to Anambra House of Assembly for screening by Gov. Chukwuma Soludo.
Mefor, Obidike and Amucheazi, former Commissioners for Information, Health and Lands were nominated for a return to their various ministries.
Aghamba who served as Commissioner for Youth Empowerment will now oversee affairs at the Ministry of Youth Development and Sports while Mr Izuchukwu Okafor was nominated to return to the Ministry of Finance.
Other nominees were Dr Ben-Chuks Odoemena (Agriculture), Mr Chukwukadibia Okoye (Budget and Economic Planning), Mr Udoji Amedu (Culture, Entertainment and Tourism), Dr Ekene Ogugua (Education) and Dr Clem Aguiyi (Environment).
Others were Mr Tobechukwu Nweke, SAN(Justice/Attorney-General), Mr Vin Ezeaka
(Local Government and Community Affairs), Prof. Charles Ofoegbu (Petroleum and Mineral Resources) and Mr Chijioke Ojukwu (Physical Planning and Urban Development)
Also in the list were Mr Casmir Agummadu (Power), Mr Okey Ezeobi (Works and Infrastructure), Mr Eddy Ibuzo (Transport) and Mrs Esther Chinyere Onyekesi (Women Affairs and Social Development).
