Nwosu, YPP Aspirant Unveils “New Dawn for Anambra South” Manifesto
Mr Samben Nwosu, an aspirant in the Anambra South Senatorial District by-election has said he would prioritise security, youth unemployment, and women’s empowerment if elected.
Nwosu made the promise during a consultation meeting with leadership of the Young Progressives Party (YPP) in Nnewi North Local Government Area on Sunday.
Nwosu, a former Federal Commissioner of the Public Complaints Commission also announced his *New Dawn for Anambra South” manifesto.
Addressing the party leaders, Nwosu said his manifesto would be used to bring hope and positive change to the people of Anambra South district.
“I am bringing a wealth of experience and expertise to the table.
“I am committed to tackling our pressing issues such as insecurity, youth unemployment, and women’s empowerment has resonated with the people of Anambra South.
“I want to tell you that after consultations, I have decided to contest for Senate and I decided to commence the journey here today,” he said.
Nwosu was received by the executive members of YPP in Uruagu ward led by Chief Chukwudi Iwuchukwu in his residence in company of nine others who expressed satisfaction with his credentials and capacity.
“We are happy to have a man like Nwosu using our party to contest for senate seat, we promise to do their part to ensure his success,” he said
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that the date for the by-election was yet to be scheduled by the Independent National Electoral Commission.
