Nwosu YPP Senate Aspirant Mourns Death Of Azuka, Anambra Lawnmower
Mr Samben Nwosu, a leading aspirant in the Anambra South Senatorial District by-election has expressed shock over the death of Mr Justice Azuka,.
Azuka, a member representing Onitsha North 1 State Constituency in the State House of Assembly was kidnapped on Dec. 24 last year but discovered dead Wednesday night.
SP Tochukwu Ikenga, Police Public Relations Officer in Anambra State Police Command who confirmed the death of Azuka said a team of Police and AVG personnel had gone to rescue him but regrettably found his lifeless body at the scene.
Nwosu who is contesting on the platform of Young Progressives Party (YPP) said he was deeply saddened to hear about the tragic loss and subsequent passing of Azuka.
The former Federal Commissioner of Public Complaints Commission describe the murder of Azuka as a devastating blow to his family , community and Anambra as a whole.
Nwosu in the condolence message made available in Awka on Thursday extended condolences to the Speaker and members of Anambra House of Assembly for the irreparable loss.
He said Azuka’s dedication to the service of his constituents and his commitment to the development of Anambra would never be forgotten.
Nwosu said this was the second time Anambra was facing the case of tragic killing of her lawmaker and called for a collective action for a secure society to forestall future occurrence.
“His untimely death is a reminder of the risks and sacrifices made by public servants, and we honor his memory by continuing to work towards a better future for all.
“I extend my heartfelt condolences to his immediate family, who are going through this terrible moment.
“May God provide them with the strength and comfort they need to navigate this difficult time.
May Justice Azuka’s soul rest in peace, and may his legacy continue to inspire us to strive for a bet
ter tomorrow,” he said.
