Nzomiwu Bags i-FATOSS University, Fontis Aid Foundation Award
I-FATOSS University, Benin Republic (Institut Des Formation Avancées) in collaboration with Fontis Aid Foundation on Thursday held a one day
technology and career advancement symposium for no fewer than
Over 100 youths in Anambra.
The theme of the symposium was “Leveraging Technology for Career Advancement,”
Recognition and honorary doctorate degrees were bestowed to deserving individuals for their accomplishments and contributions to their various fields of endeavour.
One of the awardees was Anthony Chidi Nzomiwu,
an accomplished statistician, philosopher, data scientist, educational leader, Fintech and AI enthusiast based in Lublin, Poland.
Nzomiwu has over 15 years of interdisciplinary experience, with robust background in philosophical inquiry and data science, highlighted by his current doctoral studies in decentralized finance and Machine learning applications in finance.
He holds a Master’s Degree in Data Science, a Bachelor’s in Mathematics and Informatics, a BSc in Computer Science and Mathematics Education, and various degrees in Humanities.
He is well equipped to excel in STEM both as a seasoned educationist.
Nzomiwu’s professional experience encompasses academic leadership positions, extensive mentoring roles, editorial work, and research focusing on AI, health data science, financial technology and management, Business intelligence, and philosophical pedagogy.
“His academic works have gained a lot of interest across the globe from Europe through Asia and America, as well as Africa.
“His research interests, publications, and various professional certifications underscore his capability and commitment to both scientific discourse and practical applications in technology”.
Dr Chidiebere Eze, the Registrar of i-FATOSS University said the ability to adapt and innovate with technology was now a passport to global opportunities.
The Founder of Fontis Aid Foundation, Prof. Chioma Ikeanyionwu, said the mission of her organisation was to build skills and create opportunities for the disadvantaged.
Ikeanyionwu said technology was no longer a luxury but a necessity while urging participants to bridge digital divides and use innovation to foster self-sufficiency and sustainable development.

eceived the Woman of Impact award.
