Okelutu Okadigbo Bags Peace Award, Doctorate Degree From American University
Chief Charles Okelutu Okadigbo, has bagged an award of recognition from the International Association of World Peace Advocates in Conjunction with the International Peace Foundation for his outstanding performance in Humanitarian and Traditional Practices.
Charles Okelutu Okadigbo was a former President General of Achalla Improvement Union, Awka North Local Government Area of Anambra State.
A letter of notification for the award was signed by United Nations Peace Representative, IAWPA Worldwide , His Eminence Prof. Prince Peter O. Eleanya.
It said the Achalla born Philanthropist would be conferred with the United Nations Man of the Year Award in Traditional Practice , Services to God and Humanity Peace Ambassador.
It said the awardee would also receive an academic Doctorate Award from the International Institute of Christian Management , Emmanuel University , Raleigh North Carolina, U.S.A. for his outstanding records in the field.
According to the letter, in line with the aspiration of attaining the highest possible zenith of academic and professional excellence, the International Institute of Christian Management of Emmanuel University Raleigh North Carolina, USA have continued to spread honour of the institution.
“The thrust of the initiative according to the Vice Chancellor , Prof. Peter Eleanya, is to encourage optimum performance, probity and good accountability among individuals.
“To maintain fairness, equity and justice in the selection process, the management has constituted Christian management committee experts to study the work and operations of the individuals and corporate organisations for proper assessment and recognition thereafter.
“In determining a prospective beneficiary for the awards, the following criteria were considered: Economic contributions by the individual Social and Political Contributions, Job Creation, Academic attainment ,Service to God and humanity ,Service to the nation Leadership qualities ,Community development ,Ethnic and religious tolerance ,Charity/Assistance to the poor, the oppressed, the orphans and the less privileged.
“The available statistics submitted to our office show that you have made a remarkable Incursion in most of these areas and therefore deserve to be honoured by the institution. ”
“The award will not only boost your status symbol, honour and respect but will also catalyze your economic, social and political success as evidence and testimonies from the recipients.”
“We therefore, have the pleasure to convey the Institute’s approval for the conferment of Doctor of Divinity on you by a special recommendation panel set up for this purpose,” it stated.
The Awards and Recognition would be presented to Okelutu Okadigbo, on Dec. 28, 2022 at his Country Home , Achalla.
Charles Okelutu Okadigbo had already accepted his nomination for the award noting that it will no doubt spur him to continue touching lives and being good to humanity.
