Police Declare 21 Wanted Murder Of Two, Abduction Of Igwe Nnaji In Anambra

The Police Command in Anambra has declared 21 persons wanted for alleged involvement in the killing of two indigenes of Ogwuaniocha in Ogbaru Local Government Area and disappearance of Igwe Oliver Nnaji, the traditional ruler of the town.

DSP Toochukwu Ikenga who said this in a Statement in Awka on Wednesday identified the deceased as Chief Anthony Nwanasor and Mr Ikenna Ugochukwu.

Ikenga said their declaration as wanted persons followed the investigation that had been going on to unravel the mystery behind the deaths and the disappearance of the traditional ruler.

According to him, the Anambra State Police Command wishes to declare below persons WANTED in the ongoing investigation of the alleged murder of Nwanasor and Ugochukwu as well as the abduction of HRH .

“Therefore, the Command urges the general public to report to the nearest Police  Station in case any of the names and pictures attached below are seen around.

” They are; Okwudili Ogana,Chidi Ekpendu, Chukwunonso Udom, Amaechi Akachukwu, Emmanuel Ejiofor, Christian Udeze, Chikezie Onwuka(Osy Torture), Iweka Odogwu and Chimezie Okonkwo(Danger).

Others are, Onochie Nwabugwu aka (Young PG), Anayo Ubadi (Agunechimba),Chibueze Egwenu, Charles Obi, Aboy Udom, Chinedu Nwonani, Onyebuchi Umuna(Omeke),Ifeanyi Mbanugo(Acid), Sunday Osadebe, Nduba Chibuzor, Amechi Adama and Azuakonam Anyakodia,” he stated.

Ikenga said CP Echeng Echeng, the Commissioner of Police in Anambra assured residents of Ogwuaniocha community and the state that the Command would stop at nothing in the bid to apprehend the culprits.

 He said those with useful information should make them available to the Police adding that their identities would be protected.
