Excitement Over Sacks Of Anosike As Anambra APC Chairman
A Federal high Court sitting in Abuja on Wednesday June 24 sacked Sen. Emmanuel Anosike as Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) less than four months in the saddle.
The news of Anosike’s sack has sparked widespread jubilation among members of the party who have accused him of high handedness, executive lawlessness, fiscal irresponsibility and anti party.
The court also sacked Mr Obiora Okpala, the Secretary, the State Treasurer, State Legal Adviser and others from the state executive committee
The Court affirmed Chief Ifeanyi Osegbo as the substantive chairman of the party and Chief Chukwudi Oji as substantive Secretary.
It also directed Mr Elochukwu Okonkwo to assume as substantive Assistant Secretary, with immediate effect.
Meanwhile, Anosike, the ousted chairman has sued for calm over the development.
The ex chairman in a Statement by equally sacked Secretary, Mr Obiora Okpala said he was briefing his legal team and would take appropriate steps in due course.
