Soludo Receives Côte d’Ivoire Business Delegation In Awka
Gov. Chukwuma Soludo of Anambra on Tuesday held bilateral talks with officials from the Republic Côte d’Ivoire led by His Excellency Kalilou Traore, the country’s Ambassador to Nigeria.
Soludo who was represented by his deputy, Dr Onyekachukwu Ibezim received the team which was in the state on a strategic visit to the renowned Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing (IVM) Company.
IVM, Nnewi is the foremost vehicle manufacturing company in West Africa.
Speaking at the meeting which was held at the Seat of Government, the Light House in Awka, Ibezim said Anambra was an industrial state and open for business.
He said the governor was passionate and deliberate on transforming Anambra as a trade hub and would have loved to personally receive the delegation.
According to him, the Ambassador’s delegation is currently in Anambra State for a strategic visit to the renowned Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing (IVM) Company.
“In a gesture that underscored the collaborative spirit of the visit, Chief Dr. Innocent Chukwuma, the founder and CEO of IVM, personally led the Ivorian delegates to the Light House for a high-level courtesy call.
“Our discussions were both substantive and forward-looking, centering on the enhancement of bilateral relations between Anambra State and Côte d’Ivoire.
We reaffirmed a mutual commitment to forging robust economic partnerships, with a particular focus on leveraging indigenous industrial capacity as a catalyst for sustainable growth and shared prosperity,” he said.
