66th Independence: Let’s Keep Hope Alive, APGA Media Warriors Urge Nigerians
As Nigeria celebrates its 66 years of independence, all hopes are not lost in that match towards a better Nation.
The anniversary is also an opportunity for a reflection by Nigerians over the journey so far from the days of independence to the present Nigeria aimed at reappraising those glories and challenges of Nationhood.
The National Coordinator of APGA Media Warriors Mr Chinedu Obigwe said it was not the time for name calling or apportioning of blame.
Obigwe urged the Nigerian citizenry to continue to keep faith with the country’s leadership as the Nation moves toward self sustenance.
“There is no longer room for us to continue to lament but for us to work in tandem with the respective leaderships of the states and the country in general towards a greater Nigeria,” he said.
Obigwe said apportioning blame on the current leadership in the country was out of place because successive administrations tried but failed to tackle those challenges headlong before the coming of President Tinubu’s administration.
He expressed hope that the effort being made by the Tinubu administration would surely have multiplayer effects on the socioeconomic status of the country.
“Blaming the Tinubu administration is out of place because he came on a rescue mission and he has hit the ground running and so far his socioeconomic policies and programs is yielding multiplayer effects on the polity of our country ”
“Be reminded that successive administrations met these challenges and tried without end towards tackling those challenges.
“But with PBAT in the saddle it is a rescue mission and with his Renewed Hope Agenda the next four years would be reaping from bounties of the foundations of the first four
years ” he assured.
