Anambra Voters Will Reject Ukachukwu Come Nov. 8
The All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) has said that the people of Anambra will reject Nicholas Ukachukwu, candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) at the Nov. 8 governorship election.
Mr Chinedu Obigwe, the National Coordinator of APGA Media Warriors Forum said this on Tuesday while reacting to the purported endorsement of Ukachukwu by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
Obigwe said the APC candidate would lose the forthcoming governorship election ‘woefully’ in spite his presentation to Tinubu at the villa.
He said Ukachukwu lacked the administrative acumen to manage a complex state such as Anambra and could not be trusted with governorship .
“Not even his packaging by Ganduje will save him from the defeat which is staring him in the face.
“President Tinubu has nothing to do with his emergence as Anambra APC governorship candidate, I will continue to say this without minding whose ox is gored.
“Ukachukwu can not win an election without Presidential might, he knows very well that he is not electable and that there is no gospel that he can preach to Anambra electorates that will make them vote for him,” he said.
Obigwe said Soludo was delivering dividends of democracy to the people of Anambra and they were happy with the state under his administration.
He said electing Ukachukwu would amount to taking Anambra 35 years backwards especially now that the people of the State were enjoying dividends of good governance under Soludo.
According to him, people of Anambra are already on a forward ever and backward never journey with Gov. Chukwuma Soludo, they will crush any obstacles that stand in the way of forward ever and backward never movement.
“No reasonable mind will leave a Soludo who redefined governance in Anambra to support Ukachukwu who has nothing to offer.
“Anambra is now the envy of other States in Nigeria courtesy of Gov. Charles Chukwuma Soludo’s good work in our State, those supporting Ukachukwu will be defeated on Nov. 8.
“No vacancy in Anambra State government house, it is Soludo for governor till
March 17 2030,” he said.
