Ifechigha Joins ADC, Declares For Nnewi South Constituency II Seat In Anambra
Mr Emma-Valentine Ifechigha, a former councillor and grassroots political mobiliser, has officially joined the African Democratic Congress (ADC).
Ifechigha also declared his intention to contest for the Anambra State House of Assembly, Nnewi South Constituency II.
He was received by Mr Elechukwu Nwanya, the Chairman of ADC in Nnewi South Local Government, Mr Steve Aniagwu, chairman in Ukpor Ward III and Chief Obi Nwokwu, ADC stakeholder in Ward III; and other executive members of ADC in Ukpor Ward III.
Ifechigha served as the State Administrative Secretary of All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) in Anambra between 2011 and 2014. was the SA to the former State Caretaker Secretary of PDP in the State.
He said his decision to contest for the Seat was informed by a firm commitment to inclusive, people-oriented, and accountable representation.
“My vision is to ensure that governance truly reflects the needs and aspirations of our people through regular town hall meetings, open consultations, and continuous engagement with constituents.
“I am committed to ensuring that every town within the constituency is actively involved in government budgeting and project implementation.
“Towns will be encouraged to clearly present their priority areas of concern, which he will vigorously lobby to ensure inclusion in the State budget.
“Constituency projects will not be imposed but will be collectively identified and executed in partnership with the respective towns,” he said.
Ifechigha said his legislative approach would guarantee fairness, transparency, and sustainable development across the constituency.
He calls on the good people of Ukpor, Ezinifite, Ebenator, and Akwaihedi to support this vision of purposeful representation and progressive leadership.
“Together, a constituency that truly works for all can be built, let us move forward, united and determined, for a better Nnewi South Constituency II,” he said.
Ifechigha was accompanied by Chief Oliver Unigwe, Mr Victor Igboanusi, Mr Chigozie Ohaegbu, Mr. Chijioke Ifechigha, Mr Chukwuma Chitoo, Mr Nzube Nnoruka, Mr Chijioke Ejekwu, Mr Obinna Muokem among others.
