APGA BoT Member Hails Soludo, Chairman On Natl Meeting
Chief Rommy Ezeonwuka, a member of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) Board of Trustees has commended the National Leader and National Working Committee of the party for organising a national meeting on April 18.
Ezeonwuka who made the commendation on Monday said convening a national meeting was a strategic move towards strengthening and charting a new course for the party.
He said Gov. Chukwuma Soludo and Mr Sly Ezeokenwa had once again provided leadership by bringing stakeholders and faithful of the party under one roof to discuss the progress of the party .
The BoT members said it was satisfying that APGA had come out categorically with the system of Option A4 as a method of candidate selection.
He said the method would build the confidence of members and make them part of the process of selecting their candidate .
“The National Meeting of our great party held at the weekend is most timely and strategic.
“I wish to commend Gov. Soludo and the party chairman for that initiative which has rekindled the love and loyalty for the party.
“Some of the decisions like the method of primary are also very good, it is democratic, transparent and participatory.
“The governor also warned people who are already in positions of leadership to focus on their job and not to be chasing other positions.
“I praise the governor for making that categorical statement, it will reduce distractions,” he said.
