Soludo Returns Sports Commission To Youth Development Ministry
Gov. Chukwuma Soludo has returned the Anambra Sports Development Commission to the Ministry of Youth Development and Sports.
This was confirmed in an 18-man Commissioner nominees list sent to the Anambra House of Assembly for screening.
Patrick Aghamba, Commissioner for Youth Empowerment in Soludo’s first term has been nominated as Commissioner for the newly merged ministry.
The Anambra Sports Development Commission was separated from the ministry and established as an independent department under the administration of Chief Willie Obiano in 2018.
Tony Oli was the first Chairman while Patrick Onyedum was the second and immediate past chairman.
