Anambra Police Command gets Operational Vehicles From IGP Usman
The Police Command in Anambra has received three operational vehicles from the Inspector General of Police.
DSP Toochukwu Ikenga, Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) in Anambra said this in a Statement in Awka.
Ikenga said the vehicles alongside other gadgets were approved by the IGP on Jan 13 at the Force Headquarters, Abuja with the aim of enhancing the operational capacity of the Command.
He said Mr Echeng, the Commissioner of Police in Anambra who expressed gratitude for the donation noted that the vehicles and equipment would serve as motivation towards strengthening security in the state.
According to him, CP Echeng Echeng, the Police Commissioner expresses his gratitude to the IGP and his management team for the approval and delivery of the operational vehicle to Anambra State Police Command.
“CP re-emphasises that with the gesture, the Anambra State Police Command was more motivated in enhancing public safety and peace in the state,” he said.
