Gov. Soludo father Dies At 92, Obidigwe Mourns
The death has been announced of Pa Simeon Soludo, father of governor of Anambra, Prof. Chukwuma Soludo at the age of 92.
The elder statesman from Isuofia, Aguata Local Government Area died at the Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University Teaching Hospital, Awka on Monday.
He was survived by seven sons, eight daughters-in-law, 22 grand-children and six great-grandchildren.
Meanwhile, Chief Chinedu Obidigwe, a former lawmaker representing Anambra East and West Federal Constituency in the National Assembly has commiserated with Gov. Soludo and members of the family over the loss.
Obidigwe described Pa Soludo as a great father who lived a life worthy of emulation .
According to Obidigwe the life and times of Pa Simon Soludo will ever be a model for fathers and generations yet unborn. He was a man of peace.
“It is with deep shock but total submission to the will of God that I receive the news about the death of our dear father Pa Simon Soludo the father to the Executive Governor of Anambra state Prof Charles Soludo”
